Clark the Shark is an amazing book. I totally recommend this book because I think it has a great lesson. It is about how he can control the way of acting because he gets too anxious or excited about learning and his teacher tells him something to control his way of acting.  He tries but doesn't work. Will he keep on trying? Read the book to find out.

The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill

This book is about a council who decided to leave a baby in the woods so a witch can have her. The witch took her and fed her starlight but the baby accidentally drank the moonlight. The moon has the strongest magic so the baby girl had magic inside her. The witch named her Luna. The girl grows up and weird things happen to her.  You will need to read the book to find out more.

I am reading a book called The Hundred Lives of Lizzie Lovett. i'm not finished with it but its so good so far. I like mystery books and in the beginning of the story, it shared a mystery about a girl who has gone missing.  People started thinking she was dead.  Everyone was confused, but only one person didn't care.  Her name was Hawthorn.

One book I am reading is 12 Finally. I would recommend this book.  It is about a girl who keeps being told that she can do lots of things when she turns twelve. She is waiting for the moment to turn twelve.

The book I am currently reading is Lulu Walks the Dogs by Judith Viorst. It is about a girl who walks three dogs:  Pookie, Cordelia, and Brutus. I would recommend this book to anyone. She is raising money for something for herself. Fleischman is this guy who is annoying to Lulu. Then something surprising happens..... Read the book to find out what happens in the end.

A group of kids and I are reading a book called The Westing Game. We have not started the book yet but I can tell it is going to be a really good book. I think it is going to be a good book because in the back of the book it says that a millionaire gives his fortune to a complete stranger that is a bad person. I am really excited to start this book, I think it is going to have a lot of mystery.

I just finished a book called The War that Saved my Life. It was so sad!   The story takes place in World War II. The main character is a girl named Ada.  She has a deformed foot called clubfoot.  She lives with her mom ,who is very mean to her and won't let her go outside or be seen by anyone else. But when the war starts, Ada's little brother Jamie is sent away for the war.  Ada sneaks out with him.  Once you finish this book, read the sequel, The War I Finally Won!

I read a book called The Day the Crayons Came Home.I really liked this book because it is about how the crayons write letters to their owner.  They tell him where they are now because he didn't take good care of them.  Then, they come back and the owner makes them a place to live so that they could feel more like home. This is an awesome story by Drew Daywalt.

I would recommend Auggie and Me. I would recommend this book because if you read Wonder it is the second part of it. It has the same characters as the book Wonder.  This time though, the point of view is that of August.

Jeremiah Posada

I read Bad Luck Basketball by Jake Maddox. I like the book a lot. Brandon was going to shoot a layup but the ball got stuck.  A person that works at the gym used a ladder and when he got the ball unstuck, it fell under the ladder.  Brandon went under the ladder to get the ball.  His teammates said," You have bad luck." So when they had a big game, he didn't want to go because he thought they might lose.   He skipped the game.  I would recommend this book so you can read about Brandon and the idea of bad luck.

I'm reading Out of My Mind.  It's about a disfigured little girl who can't move, speak or walk.  The book talks about what she thinks in her mind.  It turns out that Melody, the character, is going to have a baby sister.  You need to read it to learn about the journey Melody's going to have with her new baby sister.
